My Dearest Sisters

A sister is a gift to the heart, a friend to the spirit and a golden thread to the meaning of life. To you my dearest sisters, although we are from the same family but it seems like I came from a different one. I did not have any childhood memories with all of you because I was adopted by my present parents. When I was a child, I've always questioned why was I given to someone else. That always made me sulked thus infusing the feeling of hatred.

I knew that we know each other as always were but we never know each other's heart. We never shared the private family jokes and I never know when you've been bad or good. I never had the chance to quarrel with you nor I had the chance to share any belongings like sisters always do during their childhood. How I wish I could experience growing up with someone like you, someone to lean on, someone to count on, someone to tell anything.

As time goes by and each one of us got older and wiser I realized and understood why I was adopted. It is all God's will. Just believe in faith and our life will be happy forever and after. To both of you my sis although we only see each other only during certain time and occasions but the feeling of being sisters are still there deep in my heart. Malay proverb said " Air di cincang tak kan putus" is the perfect word that I should say to all of us. I will always love and adore you both Kak Jum and Kak Mah.
