Another Interesting Weekend

Thursday morning

As usual I will wake up early and started to clear up the left behind things that are scattered around by my kids. Grumbling by myself towards the surrounding but I have to do it though. As soon as I finished with all my kemas-kemas then I started to think what shall I do next. Since daddy is not around, I was thinking to go to Ramez because I need to look for a covered casserole . Furthermore if I invited him to go along, he will not accept it but yes he will send me, then having his nice slept in the car.. (hehe sori dady) So, I decided to bring Zaleha to accompany me, seperti biasa perempuan tak boleh je sebut Ramez terus je nak gi.. At 10 a.m Aida and myself fetch her and there we go.
As soon as we arrived , wow .. I could not believed that there's no parking space and surprisingly we found out crowded of people were inside the supermarket. Without hesitation we all pun ikut sama je lah.. Able to look for the things that I wanted then followed with the long que I paid happily.

In the Afternoon

After sending Zaleha to Markaz to meet her hubby then Aina called saying that she wanted to eat at McDonald. We fetched her and Zaid and immediately we moved to Al-Qurum McDonald.
Had a nice talked with the children on their school issues then Aina told me that she wanted to eat cup cakes. Bagus jugak why not we try and make it by ourselves. Finished with our lunch we rushed back to Lulu to look for the ingredients then by 4.oo p.m we started with our interesting project. Wah anak dara aku ni ada juak talent nya ya... Unexpectedly with less assistance she managed to complete it by herself. Unfortunately I did not have many utensils so we just made a simple icing.

At Night

Zaleha suddenly called me and invited us to have dinner at Turkish restaurant (yahya's place).
Such an eventful weekend for us. After coming back from yahya we finally finished with our last decoration. Ummphh....boleh lah.

You're 21 years old today

On your special day, I want you to know how wonderful it is having a SON like YOU. Wishing you all the happiness life can bring. Happy birthday to you son..........................

Back to Gym

While the kids have gone to school , so I started to think of going back to the gym. At least by doing this it helps me to shed down the unwanted excess fat. Besides that, my cholesterol has suddenly overshoot from the actual range that I supposed to have. This must be due to consuming too many seafoods during my returning back to Malaysia.

On the first day, after sending the children to school , I immediately drove to Lynn place and went to the health club which is just nearby to her house. First we started with a light workout and at the same time we have a chit-chat, chit-chat by promising to do it consistently. (mudahan-mudahan lah) Today, we did a little bit harsh, walking on the thread-mill for half an hour then we continued with the abs exercise and weight lifting. Could not do much since it is only our second day. Takut kalau buat terlalu drastic esok tak nak datang lagi .... sakit. Actually it is very interesting if you have partners to go with because it built up the mood while doing the exercise. We managed to stay there for about one hour . After completing with our stretching and push up, push down we decided to make a move coz needed to complete with the run here and there with our housework.

By next week, we promised to have last two days workout before the Ramadhan month. Insya Allah.

Back to School

Here we go again, back to our normal routine. No more waking up late, no one is allowed to chat on the internet and everybody needs to sleep early. TAISM (The American International School of Muscat ) started their school day two weeks earlier compared to the other international school in Muscat.

After having a longer period of school break , everyone seems to be very excited to come back to school to meet their friends and at the same time going to the new grade. Zaid and Aida are certainly very fascinated to meet their new teacher and also too eager to meet their old friend. This morning he woke up very early, dressing himself smartly and keep on asking me "Are we going to be late mommy".

As for myself, as usual I must wake up early preparing for their breakfast and their lunch box where each one of them having their own menu. Before 8.00 a.m everyone must get ready kalau tak dengarlah suara emak ni.

This morning I have my own activities too, after sending Zaid to his class, up I went to fetch Zaleha and Lynn who are ever-ready waiting for me and immediately having our breakfast at the normal place. Normally we borak-borak with our never ending stories from last thursday night. The most interesting part is ,we even planned for our Hari raya programme whereas Ramadhan is not yet coming.

Satisfaction

Within the last 3 days I spent most of my time in this tiny kitchen. Alhamdullillah I was endowed with miraculous power and unbelievable within an ample of time , I am able to complete my mission thoroughly (wah terror nye hehehe) . I just could not imagine that I managed to make three fabulous food in one day (angkatbakul sendiri). For breakfast, I cooked chicken curry which we need to eat with kelupis, then for lunch I prepared Mee Hongkong meanwhile for dinner I prepared chicken satay with kuah kacang. (caya lah....)

Yesterday, after preparing for our lunch, i.e honey grill chicken, mixed vegetables and rojak malaysia ( sori....no picture terlupa....) I proceeded with my last project that is baking kuih lapis (Lapis Prune) Actually, I only make this type of cake during the festival time but thinking of my son will not celebrating his Hari Raya with us, so I suggested to bekal for him.
Then late in the evening we went to Muttrah Souq because Qayyum wanted to look for souvenirs to bring along. Suprisingly the weather is getting pretty well where we can feel the sea-breeze blowing towards us. We did not go further inside the souq since it is almost maghrib ,furthermore the kids wanted to have papperoni pizza at Papa John's.
Early tomorrow morning Qayyum will be leaving us again for another one year. Bye...bye Abang we will miss you..... Hopefully we will be able to see you on your graduation day and don't forget to produce us with your coloured papers. (hehehe apa nok kata daddy ya bang tapai-tapai)

Dine out

As a last treat for Qayyum, last night Sayed Rafie invited us for dinner at Kageen Cafe. Rated as one of the exclusive and pleasant spot in Muscat whereas the food offered are mainly on intercontinental style. The lacking part which I really didn't appreciate is that we have to wait for an hour inorder to get for the food served.

Yesterday was considered as my hectic day where so many things need to clear up. I managed to prepare one kuih Lapis and completed with my Kelupis (Sarawak version of ketupat). Actually I intended to prepare our dinner with Mee Hongkong as per requested by Qayyum but couldn't make it due to the invitation. Insyaallah I will get it ready by today ..... ok son. Today I intend to make one more kuih Lapis for him (kalau sempatlah). Actually, it really reminded me of my muda-muda time, whenever we went back to kampung my late mother in law usually prepared us with all sorts of stuff to bring back. During that time I used to reject whenever she
offered me to bring this and that but things come back to myself. Anywhere...kalau dah emak tu
emak jugak....

After this I need to go to Lulu to look for one last stuff for him and some few things for myself to proceed with my other project.

Weekend In Dubai

Finally we managed to persuade Haji to bring us jalan-jalan to Dubai. Lastweek, he was fully occupied with his friends where they have to go to Salalah. Able to stay for one night but this time we were invited by his uncle to stay at their house.
Departed Dubai at 6.00 a.m, as usual it is a compulsary to stop by at Sohar for our breakfast - Nasi lemak at 8.00 a.m. Reaching Dubai around 11.30 a.m and straight away forwarded to the kids favourite mall - Mall of the Emirates.
